Biography

Vancouver-based, I'm an award-winning humour and feature writer whose work has been published in Chatelaine, the National Post, the Globe & Mail, the Vancouver Sun, the Province, the Georgia Straight, the Calgary Herald, City Palate, Avenue, Western Living, Wine Access and many other magazines and newspapers.

My humour column has appeared weekly in the North Shore News since 2001; previous to that, my monthly humour column appeared in Avenue magazine for five years. I co-wrote The Lobster Kids' Guide to Exploring Calgary, one in a series of travel books.

I also do corporate work. Over the past several years I have been writing freelance for the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic WInter Games (VANOC) and for the London-based magazine Olympic Review.
